Unity Parenting & Council Inc is an African American founded and run non-profit that serves homeless children, youth and disabled adults on the mid South Side. We need money for beds for our youth shelter and money to help match HUD funds that pay the rent on the building for our youth transitional housing program. We’d also like to hire a part time case manager for the youth shelter to go beyond just helping the kids staying in the shelter to meet survival needs.
