Impeachment Hearing Schedule:
Week two of public impeachment hearings kicks off with some sure-to-be blockbuster testimonies.

From Ambassador Gordon Sondland to Pence aide Jennifer Williams, this week’s testimonies will include a number of administration officials who had a direct hand in or were a direct witness to President Donald Trump’s dealings with Ukraine.

Where to livestream today’s hearings

See highlights from from Tuesday’s hearings featuring Williams and Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman and Kurt Volker and Tim Morrison. Keep up with our impeachment coverage with our journalists on Twitter.

Here’s a rough schedule of how the week will play, per House staffers involved in the probe:

Tuesday

9 a.m.: Williams, aide to Vice President Mike Pence, and Vindman, director for European Affairs at the National Security Council, will go before the House Intelligence Committee. They will be the first people to testify who were on the July 25 phone call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

2:30 p.m.: Ambassador Kurt Volker, former envoy to Ukraine, and Tim Morrison, White House aide with the NSC, will testify before the House Intelligence Committee. Volker and Gordon Sondland, ambassador to the European Union, have previously testified in a closed door meeting with the committee with details supporting Democrats’ claim that Trump tried to execute a shadow foreign policy with Ukraine.

Wednesday

9 a.m.: Sondland will testify before the committee. This will be the first time Sondland publicly addresses claims that he was working closely with Trump in dealing with Ukraine and that he’d told the president that the Ukrainians were ready to comply with his demands.

Thursday

9 a.m.: Fiona Hill, former senior director for Europe and Russia at the NSC, and David Holmes, political counselor at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv will testify. Hill had previously told House investigators that then-National Security Adviser John Bolton instructed her to report her concerns about Rudy Giuliani and Trump’s dealings with Ukraine to NSC lawyers. https://www.politico.com/news/2019/11/18/impeachment-hearings-schedule-071406?fbclid=IwAR0-Cg9hZTL7QkMUsNdQG6viuyk8Yu4bkoIg2Hov7JpEU9ygec0ljKYtrZg

that is not a typo. we didn’t mean toxic masculinity or sacred femininity. words are so powerful that naming a thing can also promote it. so we intend to invoke a higher consciousness in men. with deeper purpose. we believe spirituality can guide us in that direction.
this conversation asks the community to come share ideas from diverse spiritual frameworks about what different traditions say about the nature and role of men. how did our ancestral religions describe elements of manhood? how can that help us shape principles of manhood today? most importantly, how can we challenge notions of dominance that lead to violence against others that have been justified by spiritual and religious principles, such as referring to God as He?

Info Shared by Anna Johnson, Southeast Environmental Task Force: On November 20, 2019, 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm at the Vodak Library, 3710 E. 106th St., Chicago, Southeast Environmental Task Force is hosting an informative community meeting to share the results of an Air Monitoring project that SETF and it’s community volunteers were involved in. Air pollutant measurements we made on the Southeast side area with sensors during 7/13/2017 – 7/27/17 and 3/12/18 – 3/21/18. The Shared Air/Shared Action (SASA) project involves multiple Chicago communities. Three are in environmental justice (EJ)1 communities: Little Village, the Southeast Side, and Altgeld. All of these communities are impacted by diesel exhaust. Little Village is a Hispanic neighborhood and the Southeast Side is a mixed Hispanic/European immigrant community. Both these neighborhoods are heavily impacted by industrial activity. Altgeld is a predominantly African American community near Riverdale. South Loop, the non-EJ community, is a gentrified neighborhood bordering transportation areas. The area has heavy construction activities and considerable vehicle emissions during rush hours. Low-cost air pollution sensors were deployed in these communities to monitor air pollution and foster a shared understanding of community exposure. Sensors were deployed in both “summer” (data collected in 2017) and “winter” (data collected in 2018) to capture a range of pollutant concentrations. Sensors included handheld, portable units that were carried on foot through the neighborhoods and units that were installed at fixed locations.

Info Shared by Danielle Richards: East Side: Taking Back OUR Streets, Together
Hosted by Rosie Marie
Friday, Nov 22nd at 7 PM – 8 PM
106th and Avenue L Join your neighbors and fellow East Siders in a march to take back OUR neighborhood. Let your voice be heard, we will not sit idly by while violence overtakes our streets. As hardworking residents, we demand a safe place to raise our children, and lets show that our neighborhood is “lit” with demands for peace. We need to stand firm and assert that we will not tolerate the violence or live in fear. Bring your flashlights, glow sticks, headlamps and lets light the night for OUR community, together. Rosie Marie — Hey everyone! So its a go. We are going to be meeting at 106th and Avenue L at 7pm.Wear warm clothes, the high is about 30°, and comfy shoes. We will be walking about 6 blocks one way and 6 blocks back. Bring glow sticks for the kids, lanterns, flashlights, signs, we want to light the night. I want to preemptively thank each and every one of you. You are all making an effort and taking interest. This is going to be a stepping off point for a bigger movement. We have to become a Community again. Get to know each other, watch out for each other. You know, like back in the day. WE determine what type of area we live in. We have power in numbers and we have a voice. Lets be heard. See you today! Rosie
