What’s In It for South Shore Hosted by The Maze Jackson Page and The Neighborhood Network Alliance at Stony Island Bank.

South Shore is on the verge of major changes on the north and south side of us, the Obama Library, proposed PGA Golf Course, and new development of the old steel mill site, in addition to the day-to-day concerns of public safety, education, economic development, housing, health and wellness, transportation, beautification, and youth. With that being said, we must have an agenda.

Join us with our special guest Maze Jackson, Political Strategist of the WVON Morning Show to discuss the current political landscape and how we develop our agenda based on our needs.

The Neighborhood Network Alliance-SE
We are building block power by bridging the gap of communication among block clubs and creating networks on the southeast side block by block. Let other block clubs know what’s happening on your block, upcoming event, and report the Good, Great, and Ugly. Let’s create “Block Power” and stay connected. What do we consider block clubs? • Traditional Blocks • Condo Associations • Homeowners Associations • Tenant Associations • Clubs or groups of neighbors whose concerned about their community. Mission Statement Our mission is to start, reactivate and strengthen active community networks through the utilization of a block-by-block strategy that connects, trains and builds human capital within neighborhoods. Vision Statement Our vision is to create an asset-base neighborhood that will develop and maintain safe, healthy, and strong neighborhoods through collaborative planning, partnerships, community actions, direct services, advocacy, resource generation and sharing.
