South Shore Chamber of Commerce Featuring: Small Business Majority The Small Business Majority is a national, non-profit, non-membership organization focused on advocacy, research, and education to advance an economic agenda that tackles the biggest problems facing small business owners. Small Business Majority seeks to advance policies and practices that address the economic well-being of small business owners and their workforce to strengthen an economic platform that promotes small businesses, and with it, our entire economy. Come learn about the Small Business Majority and its national work to advance policies, educate, and raise awareness on issues that create jobs, maximize business opportunities, and create cost savings in tax reform, healthcare, clean energy, access to capital, infrastructure, workforce and more. This session will delve into significant policies that currently affect small businesses: Affordable Care Act, disadvantaged young adults and the workforce, retirement security, and family/medical leave.
