Reclaiming South Shore for All is a diverse, grassroots group of residents committed to mobilizing and strengthening the South Shore (Chicago) community by institutionalizing systems that promote peace, economic development, community revitalization, and leadership development. We are committed to ensuring that the neighborhood is led by actively engaged and accountable public officials who work in partnership with South Shore constituents to ensure a safe, secure, vibrant, and economically-thriving community. ** Reclaiming South Shore for All (RSS4A) Facebook Guidelines ** This is a forum for residents and supporters of South Shore Chicago who believe in the values set forth by the neighborhood group Reclaiming South Shore for All. We encourage active residents of all ages to participate; please keep this in mind when posting comments and wall posts. In addition, we ask that you follow our posting guidelines: -We cannot allow graphic, obscene, explicit or discriminatory comments or submissions nor do we allow comments that are abusive, hateful or intended to defame anyone or any organization. -Candidates for public office and their supporters may post no more than three times combined prior to the relevant election. Articles on candidates and endorsements published by objective news services are allowed. -We will not generally allow solicitations or advertisements. This includes promotion or endorsement of any financial, commercial or non-governmental agency. Exception may be made for this rule for occasional promotion of South Shore businesses and economic development. -We do not allow attempts to defame or defraud any financial, commercial or non-governmental agency. -We do not allow comments that suggest or encourage illegal activity. -You participate at your own risk, taking personal responsibility for your comments, your username and any information provided. -Members will only be added at their own request to join. Please do not add other members to the group directly. Instead, send them a link to the group and let them choose whether or not to join. If your message does not abide by the guidelines, it will be removed (or not approved) by a group administrator. An administrator may contact you to inform you why a submission has been removed, and invite you to resubmit it in a manner in line with guidelines – but some opinions and content will never be approved if they are inimical to the values we seek to promote.
