One year ago today at the Village Hall of Dolton, we kicked off #BlackHistoryMonth2017 with Riley H. Rogers Mayor of the Village of Dolton and the Village Clerk Mary Kay Duggan, along with many Dolton residents to make a historic donation from The Library of Congress featuring books by African-American Authors.

Mayor Rogers graciously accepted the donation of these books covering all reading levels — early reading levels to adulthood. These books are part of the new development of our historical society, all of which are on display at Village Hall to be viewed by all residents.#BlackHistoryMonth2018
