Wanted for Armed Robberies
004th District (South Chicago)
About This Crime:
This alert gives notice to citizens of the 004th District (South Chicago) of three armed
robberies reported on Beats 432 and 433 involving similarly described offenders. In
these incidents, the victims were approached by the offenders, one of whom was armed
with a firearm. A demand was then made for the victim’s property which they then
relinquished. The offenders proceeded to flee the location in a dark colored vehicle.
Incident Locations and Times:
- 10400 block of South Avenue N on September 16, 2015 at approximately 10:30 p.m.
- 11200 block of South Avenue G on September 16, 2015 at approximately 10:32 p.m.
- 10700 block of South Buffalo Avenue on September 17, 2015 at approximately 2:20 a.m.
About the Offender:
- The offenders are noted to be two (2) to three (3) male, Hispanics who are believed to be 18 to 28 years of age, approximately 5’00” to 6’00” tall and weigh between 130 to 160 lbs. One subject is additionally noted to have his hair worn in braids.

- Always be aware of your surroundings
- Report suspicious activity immediately
- If you are confronted by an assailant, remain calm
- Remember any unique physical characteristics (scars, limps, acne, teeth, tattoos, etc…)
- Never pursue a fleeing assailant, provide information to the police
- If approached by a witness to the incident, request contact information
- Dial 9-1-1 immediately and remain on-scene when possible
