The meeting will provide an opportunity for residents to learn more about the project and speak with Kinder Morgan representatives who will be on hand to answer questions.
The 134th Street Lateral Project is a proposed replacement of a section of pipeline currently leased by Kinder Morgan from Peoples Gas. The project consists of constructing an approximately 1.4 mile, 12-inch lateral that extends from East 136th Street and Brainard Ave to Hammond, IN. The estimated construction timeline is expected to be four months.
