Mrs. Chandra Price, PDK President and Teacher Introducing Principal Dase.
Parent Review:
It was not suppose to be done. A large urban school in the inner city. It was done. This school went from probation of almost closing to level 1 status. That means more than 50% of the students were at or above in reading. In fact on one of 2104 test they were at the 80 in reading and 78% in math. How was this done ???? Commitment of sincere staff, community, and parents. The principal goes above to make sure all his students get what they need academically, socially, emotional and physically. How do i know because i have come o the school for exercise classes in the past on Saturday morning and he was a the school working on school data. I have , before I retired left work at 6:30 p.m. and he and the assistant were still there working on other school improvement issues. Please let me not forget to mention the teachers who work to make sure each of there students succeed. I must close now by saying Edward Coles Model of Excellence is striving to continue to be just that with parents being on board as well as area network support. Soooooooooo proud of Coles
