Our newest exhibition, Apsáalooke Women and Warriors, was curated by Apsáalooke scholar Nina Sanders. This stunning show highlights the history, culture, values, and vibrancy of the Apsáalooke people of the Northern Plains, also known as the Crow.
Nina hopes this exhibition, “helps people to honor their own cultural experiences in new ways and to identify with Indigenous people—to realign ourselves as Americans and understand that this is a very diverse country. Hopefully, non–Native Americans understand that we are still here. And we are flourishing.” ✨ fieldmuseum.org/womenandwarriors
